BCB reappoints Nawaz as Under-19 head coach

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed Mohammed Naveed Nawaz as the head coach of the Under-19 team on Saturday, additionally, he will also be working as a batting consultant for junior age-group teams.

Nawaz previously coached the Under-19 team from July 2018 to February 2020, leading them to their first Under-19 World Cup win in South Africa in 2020.
The Sri Lankan coach has been handed a two-year contract which will be effective on June 1.
BCB decided not to extend contract with the former coach Stuart Law who is currently working as the head coach of the USA team. Now Newaz will play his role as Bangladesh's Under-19 head coach.
