Mohammedan Sporting Club registered a massive 251-run win against Gulshan Youth Club in the Women's Dhaka Premier League at BKSP-3 in Savar on Thursday.

Murshida Khatun and Sobhana Mostary helped Mohammedan set a record score 392-3 in 50 overs which is also the highest total ever in the tournament, surpassing the previous record of 321 set by BKSP against Keraniganj Cricket Academy in the 2022-23 season.

Chasing the mammoth target, Gulshan was bundled out for 141 in 49.4 overs. Rumana Ahmed was the pick of the bowling attack taking three wickets, while Fariha Trisna, Salma Khatun, and Sabekun Nahar picked up two wickets each.

Earlier, batters Murshida and Sobhana combined for a record 257-run partnership for the second wicket to boost the total.

Opener Jasia Akhtar set an aggressive tone with 75 runs off 41 balls, contributing 135 in 17.4 overs alongside Murshida.
