Bangladesh whitewashed by Australia in T20Is

Bangladesh women were crushed by Australia by 77 runs in the third T20I at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Bangladesh skittled out on 78 in 18.1 overs while chasing 156-run target. Tayla Vlaeminck picked up three wickets and Georgia Wareham got two.
Nigar Sultana Joty scored the highest 32 runs, while Dilara Akter (12), Fahima Khatun (11) and Ritu Moni (10) were only players who managed to cross double digits.
Opting to bat first, Australia posted 155-6 in the accumulated overs with the help of Alyssa Healy’s 45 and Tahlia McGrath’s unbeaten 43.
Bangladesh bowlers held the Aussies under pressure as Nahida Akter took three crucial wickets reducing the visitors to 98-5 in 15.3 overs.
Nahida took the prized wicket of Healy stopping her from scoring a half-century, she struck again to remove Elyyse Perry (8) and Ashleigh Gardner (16) in a space of a couple of overs.
Despite losing five before three digits, Gardner's late blitz led to a strong comeback for the Aussies that propelled them to finish on 155.
