Bangladesh duo Shakib al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal went unpicked in the Men's Hundred draft as the West Indies players dominated the show.
A bunch of Bangladesh cricketers including Shakib, Tamim submitted their names in The Hundred draft, but none of them were selected for a team. Jahanara Alam also submitted her name for the Women's draft but was not selected.
Pakistan duo Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan also failed to find any team. Star players like Jason Roy, Mark Wood, David Warner, and Tim Davids were also not selected from the draft.
West Indies power-hitters were highly sought after by franchises in the draft. The new Northern Superchargers picked Nicholas Pooran as their first signing.
Andre Russell and Shimron Hetmyer were picked by London Spirit, Kieron Pollard has joined Southern Brave, and Rovman Powell was a top pick for Trent Rockets.
Although some West Indian players may miss the first game or two due to their involvement in MLC, they are expected to be available for the majority of the season.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore will again be a top earner, joining Welsh Fire on a £125,000 deal. He will play alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was brought back after his success last summer. Shaheen's Pakistan team-mate, Naseem Shah, was a top pick for Birmingham Phoenix.
