Hridoy not bothered to miss a century

Bangladesh batter Towhid Hridoy stated that he has no regret of missing the century in the second ODI against Sri Lanka.
Hridoy reached his fifty in 74 deliveries and took another 28 balls to score 96 runs.
"I have no regrets, Alhamdulillah for what happened. I could have been dismissed on the first ball. I didn't score many runs in the last match, and I was quickly out in the T20 as well. Whenever I start, I always have a plan to carry on for as long as possible."
Hridoy's 96 and Soumya's 68 runs helped Bangladesh set a total of 286 runs, which was easily chased by Sri Lanka.
Hridoy believes that 286 runs on this wicket were not sufficient, suggesting that the wicket could have supported a total of 320-330 runs.
"I tried to finish the game. As there was no other batsmen, the situation would have been different with more support. After reaching fifty, or rather, as wickets fell rapidly, my focus shifted to finishing the game. Being a well-set batsman, it would have been ideal for me to see the game through to the end," he added.
