USA to host Bangladesh for T20I series before T20 World Cup

USA to face Bangladesh for three T20 internationals from May 21 onwards after they host Canada in Houston for a five T20I series, starting 7th April 2024, USA Cricket confirmed in a press release.
All the games will be played at Prairie View Cricket Complex (PVCC) in Houston, Texas.
As a preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies, the Tigers will play their matches in the 21st, 23rd and 25th May.
“The Bangladesh Team's upcoming tour of the USA marks a historic occasion in the realm of cricket. This T20I series signifies a momentous opportunity for the cricketers of both nations to showcase their talent and passion for the sport,” Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, Bangladesh Cricket Board, said.
“For the Bangladesh Team, this tour serves as an ideal platform to acclimatize to the conditions ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024” he added.
Bangladesh have only played two T20Is in the USA. In 2018, they faced the West Indies in Florida.
