Australia's head coach Andrew McDonald backs all-rounder Mitchell Marsh as the captain of the side for the upcoming men's T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA in June.
McDonald said that the Australia team management is "happy and comfortable" with Marsh leading their T20 side.
"I think all roads will lead to Mitch, so just got to get that ticked off in certain areas," said McDonald as quoted by cricket.com.au.
"We're happy and comfortable with the way he's been able to operate with that T20 team. We think he's the leader for the World Cup, and I think that will just be a matter of due course," he added.
Marsh has led the side on an unofficial basis since the retirement of Aaron Finch. Under his captaincy, the team has performed exceptionally well, securing a 3-0 victory in South Africa, winning 2-1 against West Indies at home, and sweeping New Zealand 3-0 in an away series
"We think he's the leader for the World Cup, and I think that will just be a matter of due course," he added.
