Sylhet clinch a close encounter against Khulna

Sylhet Strikers emerged victorious in the close encounter against the Khulna Tigers in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.
Ryan Burl quickfired with a 16-ball 32 to clinch a five-wicket win over Khulna after Harry Tector's anchoring innings of 61 runs.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mohammad Mithun played brief innings of 18 and 24 runs respectively in the middle.
Mark Deyal was the pick of the bowling attack, taking three wickets.
Opting to bat, Anamul Haque Bijoy played the captain's knock scoring 67 off 58 balls with five boundaries and two maximums and Habibur Rahman Sohan blasted with a 30-ball 43 hitting three four's and an equal number of sixes.
Evin Lewis fell early on 12 runs while Afif Hossain contributed with 24 off 16 deliveries.
Benny Howell, Sunzamul Islam and Samit Patel took one wicket each for Sylhet Strikers.
