Comilla Victorians thrashed Sylhet Strikers by 52 runs in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Match-10 at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Comilla lost their captain Litton Das (8) early in the innings despite a strong start with two boundaries, Litton was dismissed via LBW from Ben Cutting.

Mohammad Rizwan and Imrul Kayes put together 47 runs to tackle the initial pressure but it was long enough as Samit Patel broke through by taking the prized wicket of Rizwan (14).

Samit took two more wickets of Imrul Kayes (30) and Roston Chase (2) in a space of two overs.

Jaker Ali Anik and Khusdil Shah played brief innings of 29 and 21 runs respectively in the middle to help Comilla post a decent total.

Samit scalped three Richard Ngarava picked up a couple of wickets for Sylhet.

Comilla Victorians are currently in 4th place in the points table with 2 points from 2 games. While Sylhet Strikers are winless as they have lost their opening two games in Dhaka.
