Fargana Haque moves to career-best ranking for Bangladesh women

Fargana Haque played a great innings of 102 runs recently in the second ODI against South Africa, with that performance, the Bangladesh batter has risen to a career-best position in the ODI rankings.


In the latest ranking published today, Fargana has moved up two steps to number 13. This is the highest position of Bangladeshi batters in ICC women's rankings. Apart from Fargana, no one else has ever made it to the top 20.

Bangladesh lost the three-match series against South Africa.


However, Bangladesh leg spinner Rabeya Khan advanced with the performance of that series. Rabeya has moved up four steps to number 52 in the bowlers ranking.


All-rounder Ritu Moni advanced in both categories. She has moved up eight steps to 68th place in the batting and with bowling she has moved up four steps to 90th.
