New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has named a 12-man squad for Bangladesh's lone tour match in New Zealand on December 14 in Lincoln.

New Zealand XI will play a 50-over warm-up match at Bert Sutcliffe Oval against Bangladesh, captained by experienced first-class cricketer Bharat Popli.

Several players from New Zealand development squads make up the squad.

For the practice match, none of the players who were selected for New Zealand's ODI and T20 teams against Bangladesh have been named.

Bangladesh and the Kiwis will square off in three ODIs and three T20s. The opening ODI of the tour will take place in Dunedin on December 17.

The Bangladesh white-ball squads have left for New Zealand in two separate batches on December 9 and 11 respectively.
