Bangladesh fast-bowler Taskin Ahmed will miss the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand at home.

The right-arm pacer sustained a shoulder injury and had to miss a couple of matches in the World Cup.

The Bangladesh star-pacer was hopeful of recovering completely ahead of the three-match T20I series against New Zealand in December. 

Apart from Taskin, captain Shakib Al Hasan will also miss the first Test series. Due to a fracture in the index finger. While Ebadot Hossain has been sidelined with a injury for a long time.

The T20I series is scheduled to take place in New Zealand. It means he will also miss the ODI series in New Zealand.

The two-match Test series is scheduled to be played from November 28. The second Test will begin on December 6.
