The BCB decided to display the trophy in one of the shopping malls in the country and the venue of the exhibition is yet to be finalized, but the photo session will be held at Padma Bridge.
"Now the plan is to make arrangements for general public viewing in a public place. Apart from this, those who are related to our board and cricket, if they are interested, arrangements will be made to visit them," he said.
"It is a demand of the ICC, the country to which the trophy goes; Having a photo session in the iconic location of the country. Earlier it was done in front of our National Parliament building. Padma Bridge is a pride of our country, an iconic structure. We have plans to arrange a photo session of the World Cup trophy with the Padma Bridge," he added.
