Shakib-Litton get NOC to play franchise leagues

Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das got No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the upcoming Canadian T20 League (GT20) and the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
The Bangladesh Test and T20 captain and Test vice-captain have received clearance from the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
BCB Cricket Operations Committee Chairman Jalal Yunus confirmed to Cricfrenzy on Monday that the duo can play the leagues after the Afghanistan white-ball series.

“Shakib and Litton have been cleared. Shakib has been given for two tournaments while Litton will only play in the Canadian league. The two will catch the Canadian flight after finishing the Afghanistan series.” Jalal said.

Shakib is the only Tiger player, who got a direct contract with Galle Titans in LPL, while wicket-keeper batter Mohammed Mithun roped in by the same team in their inaugural auction on June 14th.
The fourth season of the LPL is scheduled to begin on July 31 and will continue until August 22.
Meanwhile, Surrey Jaguars have signed Litton in the GT20 as the second season will commence from July 20 to August 6.
Shakib and West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell have been picked by the Montreal Tigers as icon players to participate in GT20 Canada 2023.
