After today's [Monday] match, Mushfiqur Rahim thanked captain Tamim Iqbal on social media for helping him reach the fastest century by a Bangladeshi against Ireland in an ODI.
Mushfiqur Rahim blasted a 60 ball-century in Bangladesh's 349-6, which is their highest total.

Mushfiqur also reached 7000 runs landmark as only third Bangladeshi batter after Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan. His feat came in 229 innings of 243 matches as he needed 55 runs to touch the milestone before this match. Tamim brought up his 7000 runs in 204 innings while Shakib needed 216 innings.
