Afif Hossain opens up about his struggles under Hathurusingha

Chandika Hathurusingha joined the training session with the national cricket team at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.
He was seen to be greeted by ODI captain Tamim Iqbal, then he met with other cricketers in the ground and BCB director Khaled Mahmud Sujon.
During the practice session, Taijul Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Rejaur Rahman Raja, Shoriful Islam, Towhid Hridoy, Nurul Hasan Sohan, and Yasir Ali all entered to greet the coach.

Afif Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, and manager Nafees Iqbal joined in the mini-reunion that quickly formed around the Sri Lankan.

"It's been good and he knows most of the players so hoping for good things. I think technically he is very good with plans and I feel that he has already done his homework before arriving here," Nurul Hasan Sohan said on his experience today while talking to the media.
Hathurusinga arrived on Monday night to begin his second stint as head coach of the Tigers.
"I am very happy to be back. I like the people of Bangladesh, that's why I came again," Hathurusingha told the media at Hazrat Shahjalal International airport after touching down at around 10:36 pm.
The 54-year-old served the Bangladesh team from 2014-2017 in his first tenure. After the South Africa tour in 2017, he abruptly left the country before making a brief return to Bangladesh with the Sri Lankan team as its head coach.
Bangladesh played the ODI World Cup quarterfinal in 2015, semifinal of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy under his tenure. The team beat Pakistan, India and South Africa at home in three consecutive ODI series.
