The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad for the first two ODIs of next month’s three-match series against England.
Opener Towhid Hridoy earned his maiden call in the national team squad as Tamim Iqbal returned to lead the Tigers.
The U-19 World Cup winner has displayed excellent form in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as he finished the tournament with 403 runs in 13 matches and became the second-most run scorer.

The selectors dropped Anamul Haque, Yasir Ali, Nasum Ahmed, and Nurul Hasan Sohan, who were part of the 16-member ODI squad for the India series.
