27 Mar 25Rangpur Riders sealed a 55-run win against Chattogram Challengers in the ongoing BPL at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, on Monday.
Haris Rauf scalped three wickets to halt Chattogram on 124 runs while chasing 180 run target by Rangpur Riders. Apart from Rauf, Rakibul Hasan grabbed two wickets and others took one wicket each.

Chattogram were slumped to 11-3, then Hom took charge of the game and added 66 runs with Rasooli and 26 runs with Ziaur Rahman. Following their wickets, Chattogram lost wickets in quick succession and eventually crushed within 16.3 overs.

Shuvagata Hom smashed 31-ball 52 runs which featured four boundaries and equal number of sixes. Ziaur Rahman and Darwis Rasooli played short innings of 24 and 21 runs respectively.
Rangpur Riders were in trouble when they started to bat against Chittagong Challengers. But opener Naim Sheikh handled the initial pressure when Chattogram lost two early wickets 26-2.
Naim departed after scoring 34, then Shoaib Malik and Azmatullah Omarzai stormed with the bat. The duo added 95 runs for the fourth wicket stand, as Omarzai returned with 42, but Malik remained unbeaten on 75 runs from 45 balls. At the end of the scheduled 20 overs, Rangpur collected 179 runs after losing 6 wickets.
Mehedi Hasan Rana bagged three wickets while Shuvagata Hom picked up a couple of wickets for Chattogram.
