Fortune Barishal defeated Rangpur Riders by 67 runs in the ongoing BPL at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, on Thursday.
Chasing mammoth 239 runs, Rangpur managed to score 171-9 after the accumulated 20 overs. Shamim Patwary scored the highest 44 off 24 deliveries for Rangpur.
Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Naim played knocks of 33 and 31 runs respectively.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz grabbed three wickets while Mohammad Wasim and Kamrul Islam picked up two wickets each for Barishal.
Earlier, Iftikhar Ahmed struck a 45-ball century with Shakib Al Hasan to post a 192-run stand which is the joint second-highest team total in BPL history.
The unbeaten partnership powered Barishal to post 238-4 in 20 overs, which is also the second-highest team total by any BPL team.
Shakib notched up his highest-ever T20 score of 89 off 43 balls with nine boundaries and 6 sixes and Iftikhar smashed six 4's and nine 6's to score his third hundred in the ongoing tournament.
