Tamim Iqbal smashed a winning fifty to clinch Khulna Tigers’ first victory in the ongoing BPL as they beat Rangpur Riders by nine wickets on Tuesday.
Yasir Ali Chowdhury's team is now tied on two points with Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dominators.
Choosing to bat first, Khulna bowled Rangpur out for 129, with Pakistani recruits Wahab Riaz and Amad Butt picking up seven wickets between them, with the former returning with four wickets for 14 runs and being named player of the match.

In response, opener Tamim finally found his form and led his team to victory with a 47-ball 60 that included two sixes and four boundaries as Khulna scored 130-1 with 10 balls to spare.
