Khulna Tigers’ pacer Wahab Riaz claimed the absence of DRS is causing problems in the ongoing BPL and believes that if proper DRS is not available, the umpire's decision should be valued.

BPL governing body failed to bring DRS like the past seasons, instead, an ADRS was installed in the tournament, which led to many controversies in the ongoing BPL.

“To be very honest it is creating problems. It happened to us in one of the games. For me, if I have to choose, we should not have ADRS and let the umpire judge because if you don’t have proper DRS it can create doubts in both batsmen and bowlers. Let the umpire be the judge of it and let them decide what is best,” said Riaz.

On a positive note, the veteran Pakistani bowler lauded the local pacers, especially his teammate Mohammad Saifuddin. He also suggested that players should focus on longer formats to do well in short formats.

“I have given him a few tips about death bowling. I’ve played with Saif in the last two seasons and I think he’s a wonderful player and fantastic bowler and great bowler for the Bangladesh team. Whenever someone ask me for something, I’m always there to help the team,”

“Saif is one of the best, Taskin, and Mustafiz are one of the best you have and there are a few more on our side as well. Bangladesh has great talent, but just they need to play more cricket. Club cricket, whether it's domestic cricket, league cricket the more they play the more they will get polished,” he added.
