27 Mar 25Nasir Hossain's all-around brilliance guided Dhaka Dominators to seal a six-wicket victory over Khulna Tigers in a low-scoring match of BPL at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Saturday.
Skipper Nasir finished with a boundary to complete the 114-run target with six wickets and five balls to spare. he remained unbeaten on 36 off 36 which featured four boundaries.
Chasing the below-par target, opener Dilshan Munaweera scored 22 while opener Ahmed Shehzad (4) left the field with a bruised elbow as he was struck by Paul Van Meekeren.

Soumya Sarkar scored 16 after surviving an LBW off Nasum Ahmed but he was soon returned by Wahab Riaz being edged to the wicket-keeper.

Mohammad Saifuddin picked up a couple of wickets and Wahab, and Meekeren took one wicket apiece.
Khulna Tigers were able to put 113-8 in 20 overs after being invited to bat first. The top-order crumpled before crossing 50-run mark. Veteran opener Tamim Iqbal managed to score 8 facing 15 balls as he was caught by Nasir Hossain off Arafat Sunny.
Khulna's skipper Yasir Ali Rabbi top-scored for his side with 24 which came from 25 deliveries aided by one four and a six.
Azam Khan and Mohammad Saifuddin played short innings of 18 and 19 in the middle which helped the side to reach 100-run mark as they eventually managed to set a low target of 114 runs.
Al-Amin Hossain bagged four wickets while Sunny and Nasir scalped two each for Dhaka.
