Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan lauded veteran Sarfaraz Ahmed for his impressive comeback to the national team after four years of absences.
Sarfaraz was included in the playing XI in place of Muhammad Rizwan, and made the most of the chances that came his way. He started the two-match Test series with scores of 86 and 53 and maintained that form in the second match as well, scoring 78 and 118.

He finished with a tally of 335 runs in four innings of two matches and was conferred with the Player of the Series award.
However, Sarfaraz has not been named in the squad for the three-match ODI series against New Zealand. "I'm very happy that Saifi(Sarfaraz Ahmed) has made a comeback and given such an amazing performance, but Mohammad Rizwan is available and he is our main wicket-keeper in both T20Is and ODIs," Pakistan interim chief selector Shahid Afridi announced in a press conference.
"God forbid if Rizwan gets injured or if he's tired, we'll then consider other options. Let's not mix someone's Test performance with that of limited overs," he added.
