Malan set to feature for Comilla Victorians in BPL

Comilla Victorians have roped England batter Dawid Malan for the upcoming season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The 35-year-old's announcement comes just two days before the start of the tournament. He is expected to arrive in Bangladesh on Thursday (January 5).
Although Comilla will get Malan only for two matches. He will then move on to play for Sharjah Warriors in the Dubai’s new franchise league ILT20.
Malan was at the top of the ICC T20 rankings for quite some time. The current number six batter is a regular member of the England team in limited overs cricket.

Malan's relationship with BPL is quite old. He played in this tournament before his international debut. In the 2016-17 season as he played 9 matches for Barishal Bulls and scored 240 runs at average of 30.
Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been retained by team Comilla Victorians. Pakistan wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi were also bagged by the franchise.
The 43-day-long tournament will get underway on January 6 with Comilla Victorians taking on Rangpur Riders.
