Bangladesh aim to flip script in second innings

India scored 45-4 in 23 overs at stumps on day three chasing 145-run target by Bangladesh during the second Test match at Sher e Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur on Saturday.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz dismantled India's top order claiming a three-wicket haul as India were slumped to 37-4 at a moment of the game.

Following the batting debacle, India were forced to send night watchmen Axer Patel and Jaydev Unadkat, who were batting on 26 and 1 runs respectively at the close of the day's play. 

Shakib made the early blow by getting rid of KL Rahul as the batter got edged to the wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan Sohan. Then, Mehidy struck thrice to remove Shubman Gill (3), Cheteswar Pujara (6) and Virat Kohli (1).

Kohli faced 21 deliveries before getting caught off Mominul Islam in front of the short-leg.

Last match centurion Zakir Hasan returned to the pavilion just after completing his fifty off Umesh Yadav while Mehidy Hasan Miraz was dismissed for naught as Axer Patel trapped him into an LBW.

Nurul Hasan Sohan played a knock of 31 off 29 in the middle before getting axed in the same manner in the first innings.
