India could be missing both of their first-choice openers in the second Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka, after KL Rahul suffered a hand injury while batting in the nets on the eve of the match.
While India batting coach Vikram Rathour said on Wednesday that Rahul's injury isn't serious, he didn't say whether he will play.
"It doesn't [look serious].He seems to be fine. Hopefully, he'll be okay. The doctors are looking at it, but hopefully he'll be okay" Rathour said in his pre-match press conference.

Rathour, by the way, was throwing down on Rahul at the time of the blow to his hand near the end of his nets session. The team doctor attended to him after he was seen rubbing the injured area.

Rahul is also India's captain in the absence of Rohit Sharma, who missed the first Test in Chattogram and was ruled out of the Dhaka Test due to a thumb injury sustained during the ODI series preceding the Tests.
Cheteshwar Pujara was the vice-captain in the first Test and could lead the side if Rahul is ruled out. Uncapped opener Abhimanyu Easwaran is the other opening option available in the squad.
"Really thinking about the way we batted and bowled last game, we are pretty confident as a team that we'll do well in this Test match," Rathour said ahead of the second Test.
India won the first Test in Chattogram by 188 runs and are on course to make the ICC World Test Championship final with their next assignment against Australia at home.
