The Indian Premier League (IPL) announced the list for the upcoming auction in Kochi on December 23 on Tuesday. A total of 405 cricketers will be auctioned off. Initially, the 10 franchises selected 369 players from a pool of 991 players who registered for the 2023 edition of the IPL.

Later, the franchises requested 36 more players, who were added to the final list, bringing the total number of players to 405 for the IPL 2023 Auction.

Four Bangladeshi players - Shakib Al Hasan (INR 1.5 Crore category), Litton Das (INR 50 Lakh category), Taskin Ahmed (INR 50 Lakh category) and Afif Hossain (INR 50 Lakh) - will go down the hammer.
