Bangladesh A reached 172-1 at stumps on Day 3 in reply to India A's 465-5d during the four-day match at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground, Cox's Bazar.
Zakir Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto were unbeaten on the crease with 81 and 56 runs respectively, trailing by 181 runs at the close of the day.

Opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Zakir made a decent start against a massive 353-run lead by India in the first innings. However, Mahmdul failed to capitalize on big innings as he departed on 21 runs off 88 balls aided by a four and six.
Then, Zakir and Najmul amassed an unbeaten 101-run stand for the second wicket to reach 172 runs at the draw of the stumps.
Earlier resuming on 404-5, India added only 61 runs to their total before declaring their innings on 465-5d with Upendra Yadav scoring 71 runs.
