India A openers struck centuries to put India in a formidable position at stumps on Day 2 of the first four-dayer at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium Academy Ground, Cox's Bazar.


Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhimanyu Easwaran accumulated a 283-run stand which helped India to cruise 404-5, taking 292 runs lead at the close of the day.

Jaiswal scored 145 off 226 with 20 fours and a six while captain Abhimanyu hit 142 off 255 deliveries aided by 11 fours and six.


Following their wicket, India failed to capitalize on a big partnership as Yash Dhull (20), Tilak Verma (26) and Sarfaraz Khan were all dismissed at regular pattern.


Khaled Ahmed and Taijul Islam shared five wickets together as Taijul grabbed three and Khaled took two wickets for Bangladesh A.


Earlier, Bangladesh were bundled on 112 runs on the opening day.
