Bangladesh team have arrived in Sydney at midday on Tuesday from Hobart, ahead of their second game of the ICC T20 World Cup super-stage against South Africa on Thursday at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Tigers’ much-needed victory over the Netherlands by nine runs in their opening game gave a positive vibe and confidence among the players as they completed their Hobart leg of the campaign on a high note.
Although the opposition was much weaker on paper, Bangladesh had to contend with a number of off-field factors during their first game, such as finding the right combination, playing in a windy and cold environment, and recent poor performances, which is why the first win was regarded as extremely important.

The next hurdle will be the Prorteas at SCG, which will be extremely difficult.

South Africa has already dropped two points against Zimbabwe due to rain, which had the last laugh in a shortened encounter in Hobart.
That match started just few hours after Bangladesh's match at the same venue and Proteas were left frustrated as they were 51 for no loss in just three overs chasing 80 from nine overs.
Bangladesh will practice at the SCG on Wednesday morning and will hope to carry the momentum from their winning game to give a hard time to the Proteas.
