Afghanistan thrashed Bangladesh by 62 runs in their first warm-up match at Allan Border Field, Brisbane on Monday.
Ibrahim Zadran’ 46 off 39 and Mohammad Nabi’s firing 41 from 17 balls helped Afghans to reach 160 runs on board.
To chase down the target, without Litton Das, Bangladesh opened with Najmul Hossain and Mehedi Hasan Miraz, but Najmul's stumps were shaken by Fazle Haq Farooqi after scoring 12, and Soumya Sarkar, who came in at number three, was dismissed by Mujeeb Ur Rahman for 1.

Shakib al Hasan and Afif Hossain were unable to keep Farooqi at bay, with the swing getting the better of them as they fell for 1 and nil.
