Defending Champions Bangladesh has been eliminated from the group stage of the Women's Asia Cup following a washout against UAE in their last round-robin match in Sylhet on Tuesday.
Thailand now will go into the semifinals alongside six-time champions India as well as Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Thailand secured six points from six matches.

If Bangladesh could have ensured a win against UAE, they would be earned a spot in the semis, given their superior net run rate over Thailand but rain enforced a complete washout without a ball bowled.
The hosts had beaten Thailand and Malaysia in this competition while losing against India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh suffered a slim three-run defeat against Sri Lanka in their fifth match which made the Tigress's qualification into the knock-out stage difficult.
