Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Nurul Hasan Sohan was present at the trophy unveiling event with the other two captains Babar Azam and Kane Williamson.

Sohan attended in the absence of Shakib al Hasan, who is yet to join the squad in New Zealand. Shakib skipped the Tigers' previous two-match T20I series against the UAE as the all-rounder was playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

"The biggest thing is, we are transmitted with the message that we should not worry about the results. We are going through a process. So, there is no way to predict what the outcome or result would be,” said Sohan.
