MI Cape Town crown maiden SA20 title
8 Feb 25The commencement of a new franchise T20 competition is only 100 days away, with Cricket South Africa's SA20 set to begin on January 10 next year.
MI Cape Town, Durban Super Giants, Johannesburg Super Kings, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape, which represents the city of Gqeberha, are among the six teams competing in the league. They are all owned by groups that also own IPL franchises.

Each squad consists of 17 players, with a maximum of seven internationals, and they filled their lineups at the player auction on September 19, where batter Tristan Stubbs was the most expensive player, having been purchased by the Sunrisers franchise for around US$ 520,000.
