Shakib's Amazon Warriors knocked out CPL

Shamarh Brooks hit an explosive ton to propel Jamaica Tallawahs to the final defeating Amazon Warriors in the eliminator of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Brooks smashed his maiden T20 century (109 not out off 52 balls) and was aided by seven fours and eight sixes while Imad Wasim blitzed 41 not out from just 15 balls with four fours, and three sixes.
Chasing 227, Guyana could muster only 189-8 in 20 overs. Keemo Paul was the highest run-getter, scored 56 off 37 deliveries and Shai Hope was the next high scorer with 31 off 13 and Odean Smith played a knock of 24 of 14.
Imad and Chris Green picked up a couple of wickets and Rovman Powell took one wicket for Tallawahs.
Shakib al Hasan failed to perform in the eliminator as he scored 5 runs and remained wicketless in his three overs.
