Bangladesh batter Sabbir Rahman was optimistic to do well in the upcoming three-match ODI series against West Indies A team.
Sabbir, who was included in the Bangladesh A team for the Caribbean tour, was also named in the 17-member squad for the Asia Cup, which will be played in the last week of August.

The 30-years-old was keen to contribute to the team’s victory, playing accordingly to the game plan.

"The head coach will assign us a plan. I will try to play according to the plan. I will try to put effort into how to win matches, how to improve, how to play well,” said Sabbir.
“We have all the facilities here. We have one day to rest before the beginning of the ODI series. I will try to give my hundred percent and win the match, Inshallah,” he added.
The right-hander last played for the Tigers in a T20I against Afghanistan in Chattogram in September 2019. He is all set to make a comeback to the national side after three years of hiatus.
