West Indies continue to dominate Bangladesh A on Day 2

West Indies A posted 165-3 in reply to Bangladesh's 167 at stumps on Day 2 during the four-dayer at Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, Lucia.


Bangladesh managed to add only 32 runs to their overnight score, skipper Mohammad Mithun scored the highest, 50 runs. Meanwhile, Nayeem Hasan (27), Saif Hasan (20) and Shadman Isalm (17) played brief innings for the visitors.

In reply to 167, the hosts got to a great start as the openers set a 78-run partnership for the opening stand. Tagenarine Chanderpaul fell short by one run to hit a fifty as he was run out by Khaled Ahmed,


Then, Solozano Jeremy and Carty Keacy played knocks of 32 and 36 runs, which propelled the host to stay on top. Captain Joshua Da Silva and Tevin Imlach were unbeaten on 14 and 23 runs respectively at the end of the day's play.


Nayeem and Rejaur Rahman took one wicket each for Bangladesh.
