Nurul Hasan Sohan's maiden captaincy role with the Bangladesh did not go well as the wicket-keeper batter was sidelined for the duration of the Zimbabwe tour after injuring his finger in the second T20I.
Sohan will be undergoing rehabilitation, but that's not all. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is sending Sohan to Singapore. He will be absent for two to three weeks as he recovers from his injuries.

Concerns have been raised over his availability for the 2022 Asia Cup. Sohan is currently waiting for the visa. He will fly to Singapore once he gets the visa. BCB chief doctor Dr. Debashis Chowdhury will go with him.
“I will go to Singapore. Visa processing is in progress. Operation may not be needed, I hope I will be fine before the Asia Cup” Sohan said to Cricfrenzy.
Debashish said, “We have spoken to the doctor in England. I discussed with some others. Some are in favor of surgery and some are not. So we are going to Singapore for the final decision.”
