Shikhar Dhawan will lead India in the ODI series against Zimbabwe, following a 3-0 series sweep of the West Indies earlier this month.
Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant were conspicuous omissions from India's 15-man ODI team for the Zimbabwe tour.
Hardik Pandya and Mohammad Shami were also absent from the list, which was released on Saturday, July 30.

Washington Sundar made a return to the squad after recovering from injury and recently appearing in county cricket while Rahul Tripathi was added to the mix.

Shubman Gill, who won the Player of the Series in the West Indies ODIs, retained his spot, as did Sanju Samson.
The tour will commence on 18 August with Harare set to host all three ODIs.
