Bangladesh team began their practice ahead of the upcoming West Indies series starting on June 16. Left-handed batter Najmul Hossain Shanto believes they will be able to adapt to the conditions fully throughout these sessions and warm-up match.
Shanto believes the side has been well prepared and optimistic for the three-day preparation match which is set to play on Friday.
“Alhamdulillah! It was our first practice session. We have practiced very well, We had some fielding and batting sessions. We are in a very good position so far. We also have a preparation match ahead. I hope we can adapt to the condition very well,” said Shanto.

Bangladesh will be without the newly appointed Test captain Shakib Al Hasan during the warm-up match. Shakib was supposed to join the team on June 10.
"It is a positive thing that some of us arrived here a few days early and as a result, we have been able to get rid of the jet lag. And we also did gym sessions, played some fun games among us. So, overall, we have been able to adjust to the conditions here very well,” he added.
Bangladesh are scheduled to play two Tests, three T20Is and three ODIs in their multi-format tour of the West Indies.
