Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selector Abdur Razzak backed Nazmul Hassan Papon’s statement about seniors. However, he denied the fact that BCB president raised his finger toward Mushfiqur Rahim.
“What Papon Bhai said is not irrational. He did not name anyone. But it is very normal,” Razzak told the media on Tuesday.

“I don't know why everyone is talking about Mushfiqur. Papon Bhai didn’t mention Mushfiqur's name. I don't really know. It's for everyone, if that's the case, he should talk to the cricket board,” he said.
Razzak said that if a cricketer thinks that he should move away from any format, then they can make their own decision. This is what the BCB president wanted to convey.
Earlier, the BCB president said, "We don't want our players to be upset, we want them to stay happy. They should take their own decision, the sooner they can make their own decision the better. But there will be a time when the Board have to take action if they don’t,”
