Australia is set to tour India for a three-match T20I series in September 2022 and then will return in February-March, 2023 for the four-match Tests Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

According to a report in foxsports.com.au, "Australia will play a number of white ball series with home games against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, West Indies, and England coming to either side of three T20s in India in September."

The series will serve as a preparation for the showpiece event to be held in Australia in October and November this year.

Meanwhile, India’s next assignment will be the five-match T20I series against South Africa at home, which gets underway June 9 and will last till June 19.

After hosting the Proteas side, India will tour Ireland, England and West Indies for the shortest format of the game.
