In an IPL match on Monday, Punjab Kings defeated Chennai Super Kings by 11 runs. Shikhar Dhawan, who was invited to bat, smashed an unbeaten 88 with nine fours and two sixes to help Punjab Kings reach 187 for 4.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa (42), Liam Livingstone (19), and Mayank Agarwal (18) made crucial contributions as well. PBKS held CSK to 176 for six runs in defense of the total.
Ambati Rayudu top-scored for Chennai with a 39-ball 78 that included seven fours and six maximums, while Ruturaj Gaikwad was the top scorer with 30 off 27.
