England all-rounder Ben Stokes is set to return for Durham in early May after a diagnostic of his knee revealed no new problem.
After developing pain in his left knee during England's March tour of the West Indies, the 30-year-old has not been training.

Stokes' knee is still painful, but he and England will continue to manage the situation with Durham. Next month, he will compete in the County Championship.

In three Tests against the West Indies, Stokes bowled 99 overs and scored 194 runs as England lost the series 1-0.
He was also rehabilitating from a side strain he sustained during the Ashes series against Australia.
England's first Test of the summer against New Zealand starts on 2 June, while Durham began their County Championship campaign against Glamorgan on Thursday.
