Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was lauded by Lasith Malinga for breaking his all-time IPL record and becoming the highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday.
Bravo took one wicket in the game against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) to surpass former Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Lasith Malinga's tally of 170 wickets.

Bravo had equaled Malinga's record after picking three wickets in the opening game of the season.
Malinga, took to Twitter to wish Bravo for achieving the milestones, "Bravo is a CHAMPION. Congratulations on becoming the highest wicket-taker in IPL history mate @DJBravo47. More to go young man! #IPL2022," Malinga tweeted.
Bravo has 171 wickets to his name in 153 IPL matches, with an impressive average of 24.06 and a strike rate of 17.32.
Bravo won the Purple Cap for taking 32 wickets and ending the season as the leading wicket-taker in 2013. Bravo also has scored 1,500 runs in IPL.
