BCB releases statement on financial transactions amid ongoing speculations

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organized a friendly T20 match with past players on the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence Day, as it does every year.
The match was played at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium's academy ground in Mirpur. Tushar Imran, Rajin Saleh, Javed Omar, Mahbubul Alam Robin, and Jamal Babu showered with fours and sixes.

Apart from them, the match featured former cricketers - Minhajul Abedin, Khaled Mashud, Hannan Sarkar, Mehrab Hossain, Abdur Razzak, Talha Jubair, Nazmul Hossain, Syed Rasel, Aftab Ahmed, Hasibul Hossain, Shahriar Nafees, Mohammad Rafique and Faisal Hossain Dekens.

The Bangladesh Red squad, captained by Minhajul Abedin, defeated the Green team by 74 runs in the exhibition match.
After winning the toss, the Red team scored 269 runs for the cost of eight wickets. The Green team was bowled out for 195 in 18.5 overs, despite some excellent hitting from Javed Omar and Jamal Babu.
Jamal scored 62 off 20 balls for the Green team, including six fours and five sixes. Jahangir Alam and Javed Omar each had 31 points, while HR Liton had 24. Mahbubul Alam took five wickets in the match.
Earlier, the Red team's Tushar Imran and Rajin Saleh put on a show. Tushar scored 77 runs in only 38 balls. Rajin scored 87 runs off 37 balls, including three fours and ten sixes. Hannan Sarkar had a score of 27 and Mahbubul Alam had a score of 32. The Green team's Hasibul Hossain received a five-for.
