Bangladesh batting coach Jamie Siddons is proud and heaped praises on the Tigers for the maiden ODI series win in South Africa.
Bangladesh provided a clinical performance to beat South Africa by nine wickets to complete a historic 2-1 series victory over the hosts.

The batting coach took to social media to share his thoughts, “I just want to say how proud I am of the Bangladesh team and all that are involved for the way the players performed today and on winning the series v South Africa. This is a very tough place to tour as SA are such a strong team,”
Pacer Taskin Ahmed picked up five wickets to restrict South Africa for 154 runs in 37 overs, and later Tamim and Liton Das put on a 127-run partnership for the opening stand to script the win for Tigers.
Siddons came into the country on February 2nd, however, he joined the national team on February 21 ahead of the ongoing one-day international series against Afghanistan after recovering from Covid-19.
Siddons was Bangladesh’s head coach from 2007 to 2011 and under his guidance, the likes of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah became regular players for the national team.
