Joty: Improvements are showing now
16 Apr 25Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana Joty exuded confidence ahead of tomorrow's ICC Women's World Cup match against India at Seddon Park in Hamilton, which is set to start at 7 a.m. BST.
Despite losing all four 50-over matches against the ladies in blue, Joty says her troops in red and green are gaining inspiration from their good performances against India in the T20 format.

"We have more experience of playing T20 against India. And I would say that we have a good record against them in T20," Joty said in a pre-match press conference today.
"After winning the Asia Cup in 2018, we have a different mood while playing against them. Basically, I think that we have a lot of experienced players in our team who have played them before," the skipper added.
Furthermore, Joty believes that their previous victory against Pakistan at the same stadium will help them against a powerful India team.
"We've been here for many days and we know about the wickets as well. Since we played in Hamilton last time against Pakistan, we have an idea about the wicket. I think we can do well in the match," said a confident Bangladesh captain.
