Bangladesh to play two-match T20I series against UAE ahead of Pakistan tour

Wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan Sohan has been added to the Bangladesh squad for the two match T20I series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, which will commence from tomorrow (Thursday).
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has provided a media release with a revised 15-member squad for the shorter format series.
Cricfrenzy understands the board has included Sohan in the squad as an alternative for the injured Mushfiqur Rahim. A source said Mushfiq could rule out from the entire T20 series.
Earlier today, Mushfiqur sustained an injury on the thumb of his right hand during a practice session at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

He underwent a scan quickly on his injured finger but that revealed nothing serious. Despite that, he has immense pain on the finger which made him doubtful in the first T20 against Afghanistan tomorrow.
The spotlight was on Mushfiqur as he returned to the T20 squad with this series against Afghanistan after being dropped against Pakistan in the last series.
