Wicker-keeper batter Mushfiqur Rahim likely to miss first T20I against Afghanistan tomorrow (Thursday) due to a finger injury. The veteran was hit by Shoriful Islam during practice.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) physician Dr Debashis Chowdhury said Cricfrenzy that Mushfiq has already done his scan and he is now under observation. The final call will be taken by team management.

“Mushfiqur's finger was scanned, but no cracks were found. He is currently under observation. There is still a long time to go before the game starts. But in the end, the decision is up to the team management,” Debashis said.

Mushfiqur played a superb 86-run in the second ODI against Afghanistan in Chattogram. His knock was crucial alongside Liton Das's century to help Bangladesh win the second game by 88 runs. Mushfiqur however was dismissed in single digit figure in the first and third ODI.
After clinching the ODI series 2-1, the hosts will lock horns with Afghanistan in their weakest format of the game.
Bangladesh have lost their last eight T20Is, while Afghanistan didn't cover themselves in glory in the T20 World Cup last year.
